we were lucky to have the opportunity to travel so much of the world when we were so young, and to have parents who recognized that importance… but i wish i could do it again now. there’s so much i haven’t seen, or don’t remember, or didn’t care for as a child. Stopover in Singapore? Have a swim at Changi Airport! http://bit.ly/czu9qG airport Singapore traveltips

The saddest thing that happened on our Singapore trip was easily the day the setting on our camera got changed from automatic to fixed shutter speed. It created a cool effect as you can see above, but it also ruined the pictures of the Sri Veeramakaliamman Hindu Temple. The figurines there were amazing.
If you have a cool photo the temple, I’d love to see it!

Our first day in DC we really found out the limitations of traveling with toddlers. A little bigger and they could have easily hoofed it along with us. A little smaller and we could have carried them around easily. As it stood, they were the exact wrong size and it really slowed us down. We eventually adapted but I think we will definitely hold off on our next trip till the girls are a little bigger.

Welcome to NYC.

After clearing customs, we couldn’t have hit a more New York type of scene: the cab dispatcher was SCREAMING at a cabbie who he thought had wronged him. All this through the thickest New York accent.
